How to back up a wordpress theme?
Do you want to find how to take back up of your wordpress theme?, we
wish to take back up of our whole template when we modified any styles
in original theme or if we want to upload same theme on any other
wordpress blogs .
Go to your site control panel then move to File manager >>>> wp-content > themes
In the themes folder you will find the list of themes that are
installed on your wordpress blog, from the list choose the theme which
you want to take back up.
For example if i want to take back up of theme named crybook, double
click on that folder. It will display the theme files such as css codes,
function.php file,js,images and more.
Select all the files and compress it as zip archive, that it. Download the zip archive this is the back up of your theme.
How to restore ?
Step 1: WordPress Dashboard >>Appearance>> themes >> Install themes
Step 2: click upload themes then choose zip archive which you have downloaded in previously and click install now
